Missing Units for Deployment

In a PBEM game (V1.7 + 1.7 Hotfix) as Allied player, I have had messages during the Event Country phase that 7th Div AIF, 2nd Canadian & 6th Div AIF have been made available (select "Great" for subsequent message - "unit placed in force pool for deployment")

However, none of the three units HAVE appeared during the GB turn for plkacement.

Is this a known bug?
Is it on the fix list for 1.8?
Is there an edit available for the game files so that I CAN have these units? (The AI Germans are pressing hard and I MUST have these reinforcements!)

It is something Chocolino and I suffered through in our late game. It has been reported to Matrix, but it can't hurt to remind them again!

With kind permission of my opponent, I have purchased 3 x Level 1 inf divs, recompensed myself the cost in PPs with F12 and used Chuck's utility to rename them to the missing units.
Meh!
It's a workaround but it shouldn't have to be done that way.
