Still can't download it. IE says "internet explorer can't display the webpage", FF says "ftp2.matrxigames.com has timed out".

I can't actually download any of the patches in the members area. (The ones I have registered for anyway)

Anyone have any ideas why the gods do not want me to try out the 3.4 Beta?

Best wishes,
Steve

you can email support (at) matrixgames.com. ou could try downloading firefox or chrome and see if it helps. I haven't heard of any problems with IE, it's what I use, but if you tell them not to intall all the extra stuff and not to take over your system, the others are fairly unobtrusive.

It's not an IE problem. It appears to be a fundamental conflict between my isp and the Matrix site. For three years I wasn't even able to reach these forums. They finally sorted out that problem but the solution apparently does not reach the download area.

I have now downloaded the Beta via an Internet Cafe in Colchester.

You have no idea how annoying this is.

Best wishes,
Steve

A recommendation for all TOAW fans, please spread the news of the beta patch out to other message boards.
Yesterday I posted on Blitzkrieg and it seemed no one knew that the beta was out.
