Phases of the Moon in BoB

Do we know what point the moon's phases are calculated for? It's just that for the first night of the campaign (12th August) both moon rise and set are bang on those for London, but then get steadily more and more badly out of phase. By the 24th it is rising an hour late and setting FOUR hours early.
