US Army, January '39, Western Europe. I took 1 Mech Inf. Platoon and a Team (along with a fourth, the CO) of US Cavalry. This initial scenario is always huge, but the enemy's points (France) were as they should be. So here's what happens:
I've got A0 in an M3 halftrack, and they're running along a road. It's been about 5 turns since we've seen the enemy, so I just click at the end of the road and watch 'em scoot. Suddenly I notice that my M3 is empty. I also notice that about halfway down the road, A0 LEAPT OUT of the M3 halftrack?!! Yes they did! They were moving at 20mph, and they leapt out 5 hexes from an entrenchment hex that appears empty (of course, I know it won't be).
What the heck? Did my A0 just say "HEY YOU STUPID PLAYER!! There's enemy here! Screw it--men, out of the truck!"
(Next turn: My A0 gets completely wiped out by an enemy opposite that entrenchment. Well, they were smarter than me, but not fast enough.
