Objective tracks...

Post by laska2k8 »

..how do they work ?

the menu option play-->objective tracks give up to five tracks definition so the questions are:

1) can I choose wich track will be the next ?
2) Do Elmer choose the best one ?
3) can I remove all the tracks at once ?
4) Is there a hotkey to "play-->move one formation" menu option ?

thanks

In the manual folder there is a document on how you cam let Elmer play some or all of your units. The scenario may change tracks for you., so this is a way to change them back. Elmer doesn't choose one, you or the scenario author does.

There is no hockey, check the hot keys.txt for the complete listing, we're running low on keys. That was something I put in for my use in troubleshooting. It is pretty easy to edit gametext.XMLfile to put that at a top level on the menu. If you can suggest a hockey, I can put that in for a later patch.

For the current patch, is it too late to add a uber-hotkey to summon an in-game hotkey list? So we don't have to look for this info in a separate file outside the game.

Via event.
2) Do Elmer choose the best one ?

He uses the one in effect (see question 1).
3) can I remove all the tracks at once ?

Individual objectives of each track can only be removed one at a time.
4) Is there a hotkey to "play-->move one formation" menu option ?

thanks

Yes,it's too late now, I'm afraid, but someone could modify the gametext.xml file and add the hotkeys onto the menu.<hint>

thanks you for all answers.

Yes, probably we need a hotkey (or a button if it is easier) for a single formation movement, but I think this could be addressed to a future patch.

Thanks for the new massive upgrade.
