Error while loading a saved game

I just experienced the following error while attempting to load a saved game:

This pop-up appeared on my windows desktop: Trying to load a battle without a size...(0)

I am running the current game version in winxp.

Do you recall when in the game you saved it? It shouldn't be able to happen, assuming the save file saved out correctly.

I've had this a couple of times too.

I was playing the Western Desert Campaign and tried to save during a force selection. The other occasion I had tried to overwrite a previous save.

When loading the saves the load hung and froze. The Windows mouse icon would move under the graphics but not over them. Eventually I ended back at the desktop.

Caught some error messages pics if they help. Otherwise all saves have been fine - but I've noticed that I can't make more than 10 saves and I can't rename any prior ones either - is this right?

Only use the Esc to save while in the battle screen. The game autosaves your progress after you complete a mission.

You should be able to scroll the save list.
