Multiplayer?

Close Combat – Last Stand Arnhem is a highly enhanced new release of Close Combat, using the latest Close Combat engine with many additional improvements. Its design is based on the critically acclaimed Close Combat – A Bridge Too Far, originally developed by Atomic Games, as well as the more recent Close Combat: The Longest Day. This is the most ambitious and most improved of the new Close Combat releases, but along with all the enhancements it retains the same addicting tactical action found in the original titles! Close Combat – Last Stand Arnhem comes with expanded force pools, reserve & static battlegroups, a troop point buying system, ferry and assault crossings, destructible bridges, static forces and much more! Also included in this rebuild are 60+ battles, operations and campaigns including a new enhanced Grand Campaign!

Multiplayer?

Any plans for a more realized multiplayer client? What I mean by that is lobbies with games to connect to and chatrooms etc.

BHQ works well, though it would be nice to see a browser-based meet-up place for CC!

I really think a game like CC:LSA should have an ingame lobby and message board. Especially since multiplayer is the heart of CC as everyone has been telling me. I've posted on the forum here looking for an opponent and got no response.

I think if the developers want to make more money on this series they need to think this way: what is going to bring in more players? Console games and steam games on pc have been adding things like acheivements and rankings. That's what is going to get people addicted to the experience and plop money down on this game and the next game and the next game.

Console games and steam games on pc have been adding things like acheivements and rankings. Making multiplayer as simple and straightforward and accessible as is possible. That's what is going to get people addicted to the experience and plop money down on this game and the next game and the next game.

Most players use Hamachi to meet up for games of CC. On weekends you can always find at least 10-20 people on the networks looking for games.
