focal points for research cant be changed

focal points for research cant be changed

I seem to be having problems trying to change focal points for research. Its locked in once I focus on something i.e. Industry I can't cancel out or change it even on later turns. Is there a solution to this situation?

It takes a focus point to change focus. You must wait till you have a new one to focus on something else.
