A few additional pics...
From a PBEM game of the Netherlands scenario that Andrew and I are playing here in the office. This shows one of the possible views where you see all the units in a hex spread out with small counters showing unit type and strength. This can be a good "at a glance" view that doesn't require cycling through a stack.

Here's the next one. Andrew used some of his airborne assets to land behind my lines. I pulled back from my defense lines in the south to respond to this and rerouted some reserves that were heading to the front to try to give the Flieger division something to think about.
Note that we are playing a variant of this scenario which allows the Netherlands to be more prepared than they were historically.

Number three... unfortunately this strategic option and the one that increases my command and control both cost 10 PPs and I currently have only 8 PPs. I am gaining one per turn though, so I'll be able to make a choice here soon. Flood the polderland, increase command and control, or raise more troops?

Number four... part of the badly overmatched Dutch airforce. Clicking on any troop or equipment in a unit's TO&E brings up a display like this with the unit stats and historical info.

Number five... I made use of this card to boost the defensive abilities of the Dutch "Naard" unit you see sandwiched between the two German "22nd" units there. Hoping to keep those supply lines open. Leaders can't be everywhere, but sometimes their abilities can provide a key assist in a crucial situation.

Next one... watching the replay Andrew really hit some of my forces hard. My losses are up to 17% whereas his are I believe at 3%. My losses have already started affecting my morale on the last two turns. To win the scenario, I don't need to hold on to that much territory, so it may be time to start pulling back more and conserving my forces.

Last one... that spearhead pointed towards Tricht is not something I will be able to hold for much longer.

I have a couple shots from the turn before. Before I moved, about to do a recon flight.

AAARGH - don't rub it in that I'm stuck at the office while my copy of the game is waiting on my 'puter back home.

I love the "cartoonish" artwork! I am going to play this game SLOWLY to savour it fully! After all, who knows when the next instalment will be out!
RE: A few additional pics...
I am confused by the different unit artwork on the maps. Some are silhouettes like the first picture, then they change in the second picture to a more board game look ( I like alot) . Then they go to Nato style. Can we control how we want them to look or is it a zoom in of the battlefield affect?

You can choose between silhouettes and nato counters on the fly with a simple button click
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"

I'm a little slow here...where do I click to change and is it a right or left click? I changed to silhouette but now I can't seem to switch back. Thanks.

In the button bar you left click the first blue button.
After each click you should see the silhoutte change: normal, Nato, no counters on the map.
