West Front Attrition

I'm noticing tht the divisions in west front are decreasing from their startup size of 333 squads by about 10 squads a week. Not all are shrinking at this rate, but all are getting smaller. Where are they going? They certainly weren't getting released at the end of their enlistments. The maquis? RAF bombing? Taking sickleave? Volunteering for the campaign in the east?

Unfortunately the game doesn't hold off on west front attrition until combat is actually occuring, attrition begins immediately. Its not exactly a bug but I'll bring it up, and in the meantime, if it really bothers you, you can use wirhack to disable west front attrition until the allies land in normandy and then turn attrition back on.
