ok thanks. I am not the best at understanding what all the stats mean in all the screens since I am no scenario designer or anything like that.

Results for the turn, we have suffered some bomber loses due to the flak around Warsaw but they are in acceptable ranges.

Poland is a finished Campaign. the polish army has no supply and in a couple turns will be cleared out.
Our armies except for the 1st. and 2nd. Prussians are all being sent to other theaters now. The two Prussian armies will clean up Poland and then Garrison the Russian border.

the totals for the turn
and in Poland the only big loses we took where a handful of bombers which are acceptable. All in all it was a major success and completed ahead of schedule.

Ahh, ok...I see what's going on. In order to give the nationalties individual unit colors and flags... you have to make a regime for them... then you tell the people group to use the colors for that regime in the editor (same for SS and Siberians). That's how you can get units on the same side with different color schemes.

The Polish units don't actualy belong to the "Polish Regime", they belong to the "Allied Regime". Same will hold true for each neutral when you invade them...they'll join the Allied Regime... there is probably some setting that I need to flip on the regime screen to not allow it to be listed in the strategic window. At the very least I can put a Diplomatic block on it, so that you can't DOW it.... I thought I did that for all Regimes already...but maybe I missed Poland.

All you need to do is run an event to merge, forget the exact name of event code, the Polish regime with the Allied one. Then "Poland" disappears but the people should still be around.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"

If you are talking about ExecJoinRegime, then I can tell you that this is not the case. By using that function you only get one regimes troops (and land) to become that of another. (No PPs are transfered). Also the regime in question stays Awake, if it was that, as well as keeps existing. (I.e. you can still declare war on it).

its April of 1940 and we just launched our attack into France.
playing as the west in the first test game and seeing the difficulties experienced by the Axis in moving through the low countries I have decided to try and breakthrough the Maginot line.
I have three armies attempting the breakthrough with three armies in reserve that are also poised to invade the low countries. I also have 1 small SS army in reserve.
The 1st army which is stationed in the Siegfried line will be the first to attack and try to soften up the defenses.

here is the situation at the start.
notice my 14th army in the south still hasn't gotten into position to attack but will just have to attack when they can. This is unfortunate but it has taken a long time to move that army from Poland to here. The 1st army and the 10th Panzer army will have to bear the brunt of the attack.

The first army performed very well and has taken several of the fortress and broke the line in two places but at a heavy cost. The 10th panzer my most powerful army has moved into position to exploit the breakthrough next turn. We will attempt to bridge the river in the south so the 14th army can cross.

also note that the 1st Fallshirmjaeger has dropped behind enemy lines and cut off supply with the help of the Luftwaffe which blew the two bridges to the north

The french have inserted some armor into their garrisons which has slowed my advance and has worked well for them.

The 1st Fallshirmjaeger isn't my only airborne army I have three of them and I built 21 transports. this was a huge investment but with the size and scope of this map I believe that the airborne units have a big role to play and I will use all those transports for other things latter.

The 4th Fallshirmjaeger dropped into southwest France and succeeded in its mission to capture all the bridges but lost 1 transport and 1 Regiment to enemy planes.

The goal of the airborne operations is to disrupt supply and reinforcements to and from southern France and with this supply overlay you can see that it was a Success. It hasn't cut supply completely but it will make it very hard to move many units around and will eat up the enemies transcap fast if he tries to move much.

here are the totals for the turn. the 1st army took heavy losses but that was expected and it did achieve its goal.
The Luftwaffe took minor losses but we didn't really engage the french air-force except on 1 recon mission.
