RE: WAW6T allied thread 82nd/and Ezto
My problem is the units in the north have a long way to retreat and they have no transport for their anti tank guns so I am building horses asap to send them . Also the engineer unit needed to build the defenses will take 2 months to get there. So its going to be dicey trying to get this done without losing those units.

I am starting to build a Siberian Army to counter attack with but it will take months to get it built. But with the new defensive posistions I should have the time. Russia has a solid air-force and a good artillery force so I am in very good shape there.
There are three Siberian units already on the front lines and maybe I can withdraw them and add them to the 1st Shock Army when winter is over.

RE: WAW6T allied thread 82nd/and Ezto
The situation in the south is interesting. Ezto did well cutting off the Germans from the oil fields but with the bridge blown at Astrakhan I cant keep my units in supply to exploit the axis weakness here. So I am pulling engineer units back to try and get that bridge repaired in time to hold the axis off from that oil.
Sevastopol is holding on but i honestly don't know how long it can. A lot depends on how much the Germans want it I guess.
I would love to hold on to the south but if I cant its expendable. As long as I can hold the line in the north I can build up and retake all that I have lost.

RE: WAW6T allied thread 82nd/and Ezto
China.
Things looked really bleak here and still do. However there is a small ray of hope. The Japanese appear to be gravely short of supply, All my scouting shows them to be all but starving. In fact I have moved units east to try a small counter attack and see if I can push them back some. If the west can help by taking out all the supply centers they can then maybe just maybe China can hold on.
My partisans are running rampant through the country side and really hurting Japans supply structure.
Japans supply situation is borderline critical when everything is going good so there is chance that the Level Bombers in India can tip the balance if they can knock out 1 supply center per turn.
This will be very very interesting because China is in as bad a situation as you could expect to find. It they can hold on it will be a major victory.
one of my problems is that in India I was expecting an invasion and had built extremely strong defenses and now I need offenses and am having to build them. Japan caught me with my pants down and I am scrambling to recover.
But with the factory there in India I am building 3 level bombers per turn and soon will have a large bomber force to hit japan with.

RE: WAW6T allied thread 82nd/and Ezto
In India we have had some success the last turn we knocked out Hanoi with our LB's and this turn we knocked out Manila.
So thats two supply centers out in two turns and next turn I will have 6 LB-I and 6 LB-II. I will try to take out 2 supply centers in one turn.
If i can keep taking them out it will have to effect japans supply situation. I am making 3 LB-II a turn in India now.

starting to pull my forces back a little. I really hate to lose Moscow but I only had partisans pop on 1 turn in winter and I think more will pop if moscow is lost. Plus I need to consolidate my lines.

in the south things are still looking ok but I need to repair that bridge asap, I lost a real chance in winter to push Germany out. I could have at the least taken Grozny back

still holding on, as you can see the Japanese troops are really short of supply. I hope my bombing campaign will succeed.

RE: WAW6T allied thread 82nd/and Ezto
Winter is finally over but it really took its toll on the west. I do not understand why I got hit as hard as I did since I always had plenty of supply but oh well.
In France I am in a bind the Germans have recovered from the effects of winter faster than i am and they pounded me. It will be another turn or two before I can really stabilize the situation. I should be able to hold on long enough for it to become a war of attrition. once I get my Battle line resupplied I can move it down and bombard those German units back from Bordeaux.
Right now all I can really produce is supply and PP and will be this way for at least two more turns. so my units there are on their own until then.

In North Africa we have continued with our advance and cut off all Axis units near Tobruk. The Royal Navy has started its siege of Tripoli.

In Thailand my invasion is going very well, it seems I was right in my conclusion that Japan had so much in China that he was weak elsewhere and we advanced and took Bangkok right away.
Our Bombing campaign has been successful, so far we have knocked out 2 supply centers completely and took another down to 50%. Our bomber fleet continues to grow and we should be able to keep hurting japans ability to stay supplied.

Russia
As much as we hated to we withdrew from Moscow. Its hard to leave a stable defesive line that could have held for a couple more turns at least maybe longer.
But this way we can consolidate our lines and instead of spending all our resources keeping all those units in reinforcements on such a long front we can start to build an offensive army to counter attack with.
