Game Freeze

Hallo,
thank you for this great game, but I got a problem.
After defending Schijndel with my dug in paratroopers against a offmap german battlegroup the game just froze.
I had to go with Strg+alt+del.
then I tried to just reload the savefile, but same thing I can't go on, since I'm quite far in the Grand Campain, this is quite a pain.
System is Win7 64bit
Core Duo 6750
4gb Ram
Nvidia 8800GTS 640mb

What is the next battle you arexpecting?

Movement phase?

Did you disband the Geman Bg on Schindel?

As far as I remember that was the only battle. So next would have been movemntphase I think
The german bg was either disbanded or had to retreat, I'm not sure

Capt. Frick do you have the currently available update installed? Our lead developer tried out your saved game file in the latest development build and it is working fine for him with no errors.

I got the 5.6.00.1b or so patch installed, all battles and vids sofar have worked with no problem so I don't know what could be different

Always Always, have more than one save when you play a long linear campaign. Save game files can go corrupt just like any other computer files. If you only have one save then your screwed. This goes for any computer game.

Thanks Capt.Frick. Passing the info along. We're not able to repro it on our end but we'll keep it open to keep an eye on it in the event the impending update #2 doesn't fix it for you. Since the saved game opens fine on our current build it's possible the problem will not be an issue once update 2 is available to you.

Thanks for checking it Andrew. Steve mentioned that the assert is on the debug side and ignorable therefore not something that would be causing this problem. Still worth reporting. Thanks.
