Making up My Mind

The team behind the award-winning game Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive early days of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris is the first in an innovative series of operational World War II wargames that also include a strategic element. The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris simulates Germany’s military successes in Poland and France in 1939 and 1940 (including also a hypothetical “Sea Lion” invasion of Great Britain).

I just bought this game the other day and I find it very interesting. Maybe one day someone will program a "Squad Leader" type of computer game for windows 7.

We live in hope...I've found Squad Battles by HPS to be the closest....

This game does seem interesting though....I've found a fair few operational games lacking in the fun factor or on the other hand the realism stakes...so if this has the perfect mix then I may buy....

I bought this game because of the favorable comments posted at The Wargamer and out of curiosity to learn how the cards would play out. It's a very fun and tense game playing solitaire against a reasonably competent AI. I think this game would be especially fun in a multiplayer environment. I am enjoying this gaming experience very much.
