Problems with installing SPWaW (WinXP)

Hi,

I seem to be having problems with installation. It's just fine until the text in the install-window says "Arial (truetype)". Then it freezes. Nothing happens, and when I try to cancel the installation it appears that the program is not responding.

However, I AM able to start SPWaW, and play it, but I can't be sure if I am missing something now or if there's going to be trouble in the future.

Never heard of that problem, during the installation make sure no other programs are running in the background especually an antivirus. Does this happen with the 7.1 full install downloaded from the web or from a MegaCampaign CD? Try to install the game over itself soemtimes things don't take the first time through. I my self run Win XP Pro and never saw this from any SPWAW installation.

Yes, now it worked OK. I had an anti-virus program (which mostly likely was the cause) running in the background. Turned it off, tried to install, and ta-daa!
