Recon not flying with addtional fuel tanks?

When I set up recon planes to fly using additional tanks, the planes does not seems
to fly recon missions.(no fatigue at the start of new turn)
When recon planes set up to fly without addtional tanks they do just fine.(there is fatigue
at the start of new turn)

Is this BUG or WAD?

I am not sure what you are asking, but if the base is low on supplies, the Drop tanks will be grayed out, thus the recon will not fly extended range.

Not sure what your problem is. I have no trouble flying recon at long distance with drop tanks. Perhaps a visit to tech support.

My recons are flying with drop tanks all the time and for me it works just fine. Never experienced any problem with drop tanks, no matter if recon, fighter or bomber.

Thank you guys. Let me check the situation once again. Maybe I just got a bad weather
or something making recond not flying. Anyway, thank you for confirming that recon
should fly with drop tanks.

I've noticed this as well (graphically). When you add "drop tanks", everything seems to work fine..., but the range of your "search arc" still ends at the "normal range". Not sure if it actually works that way in the programming, but that's what it shows.
