1.08.04 non BETA

Post by Dancing Bear »

Hi Marshall
I assume that the BETA test teams are still playing with 1.08.04, and as far as I can tell they have had no problems with the BETA in the 2 months or so they have had it. Given that it is working fine, and that Matrix seems to have forgotten how to load files to a website, why don't you release the current 1.08.04 as a non-BETA release? It would seem very painful to have to wait for yet another month plus for Matrix to load up the non-BETA release, when the chances are this BETA will become the final version.

Since the 1.08.04 Beta was previously posted for playtesters, I assume there is a hidden download link. Could we just get that and download it from there>

Marshall, this answer implies that there will be improvements between the BETA and non-BETA release.

Only if the BETA does not go well. The BETA images really get used a lot so sometimes issues only surface after a week of BETA since it tends to be a larger testing group. This is my reasoning for general release after a week.
