Site for All Mods/Scenario

Post by John 3rd »

I started a Thread over in the General Discussion area to see if we could establish a Site for any Modder or Scenario Design person to place their creation in it.

Spooky's site used to do this in WitP but as I see Juan, Da Babes, Reluctant Admiral and others being created it sure would help if we could put them all in the same area for people to peruse and checkout.

FANTASTIC!

Well Done!!! [&o][&o][&o]

A little late to ask if you need some help...

How are you going to handle changes and updates for the Mods? Should the Mod people send the info to you?

Can we get the Moderators to sticky this Site so people can simply go right to it?

I downloaded and installed the Buccaneer and Marianas scenarios from the Ryan Crierie WITP:AE Scenarios site.

Marianas loads and runs fine, but Buccaneer fails to load.

I am certain that I installed the latter correctly.

Can anybody confirm the Buccaneer problem?

I am using the latest version (Buccaneer_v3.zip) from Ryan's site. Also running an up-to-date, fully patched AE on Windows XP, if it matters.

Great job with the compilation!

What is this that you refer to?

JoneSoft Generic Mod Enabler

And do you have a link to it?
So much WitP and so little time to play.... :-(

Another suggestion, though.

You should attribute authorship for each of the files. Recognizing the people who worked hard on these is essential!

Thanks!

I concur with that thought. There are so many people who jump in and help with creating the Mods that they should be recognized as well. Many would never ask but it is a nice thing to do.

Ok, thanks for spotting the problem with Buccanner; I tried using my download and found it wouldn't work for me [:@]

Went back to Andy Mac's Buccaneer thread and redownloaded it, and now it should work -- I have tested it.

Thanks, Ryan. I'll give Buccaneer another try.

...

Retried, and loads just fine.

Another great tutorial scenario. And looks like fun in its own right.

I just connected Ryan to the recently Posted update to the art files of RA. He will be getting those added to the site so everything is up to date with our Mod.

Thanks for all the hard work Ryan!

This is fantastic, thanks for assembling all the scenarios in one place. I for one love shorter scenarios in WITP:AE as well as the GC. [:)]

Try this

[:D]

The Da Babes scenarios there are out of date. Should be versions 6 (26 & 27) and 3a (28 & 29).
