Problems with SotP

I installed the game from the down load file and updated to 1.03. I clicked on the exe file to start the game and got the following error message "error while validating serial number followed by 6 digits of numbers which were never the same upon repeating the attempt. The game is in a Matrix folder in the 64 bit with all but one of my other Matrix games which all run correctly.

I can start the game with a short cut to either the autorun file in the game folder or the short cut that is in a games folder on the start menu. The game appears to run correctly.

When the game loads I hear the music and sound effects but no graphics till the wasteland picture comes on
I have win 7 Pro with a Phenom Quad core CPU, two 9800GTX+ video cards in SLI and a Asus external USB Xonar U1 sound card and a Asus M3N72-D mobo and a 23" LG monitor running in HDMI (1080p) I think.

Need some help in what to do, uninstall+reinstall or what. Have not played as I am going to read the manual when i get more paper for my printer.

Did you downloaded Matrix version of patch?

WELL.....i actually downloaded the 1.03 patch by using the update program that came with the game. So does this mean there is another better place to get the patch or should I uninstall and reinstall and use version 1.02 till the non beta 1.o3 is released. I am a bit lost as to what to do, so any suggestions would be great.

You hit the escape key 4 times and you will be at the menu.

You need DIVX installed. DiVX has updated their files.
Update DiVX application. Perhaps then it will work correctly. If not continue to hit the escape key.
