Carrier Strike?

Post by SoulBlazer »

I would send a e-mail to Matrix, but they seem to be such busy folks, I thought I would have better luck asking here.

Does Matrix have any plans to re-make Carrier Strike like they did Pacific War and War in Russia? I adore that game and still play it about once a month or so. A remake would be SO cool. :)

Hi

I also play that game from time to time:) I'm kind of hoping Gary and 2by3 will make a brand new one some day. That would be fantastic.

I've heard of this PacLink, but will it work with the new Matrix version of Pacific War?

Here's hoping you guys at Matrix change your mind!

Paul, since you were kind enough to answer, have another question for you.....

Does Matrix have the RIGHTS to Carrier Strike? I ask because I know the game is avaialble for download at Home of the Underdogs at www.the-underdogs.org They also include the rare expansion disk. The caretaker goes out of her way to obtain permission from companies whenever possible to have their abanoned games on there. If Matrix has the rights, perhaps someone might want to check it out and either give their aye or nay on it.

If anyone is interested I have an original copy of Carrier Strike, plus the expansion disk & rules that I am willing to part with for a very reasonable price. If interested, post here but be advised I am only able to check messages every couple days or so.
