A disastrous turn 4. The polish retook Cracow and it was possible to recover the city. A Frontal attack against Lodz resulted in massive losses. Given the relative ineffectiveness of air attacks against well entrenched troops, the Luftwaffe will shift to strategic bombing. We plan to level Warsaw next turn.

turn 5

Much better turn. Polish troops suffered heavy losses. Lodz and Cracow captured. Warsaw devastated by air attacks and artillery shelling. German troops are reaching the western outskirts of Warsaw...

Turn 7:
Warsaw finally surrenders after being subjected to massive air and land bombardment for three turns. The assault itself wasn´t difficult, but the Polish air defenses shot down two He-111 and 1 Bf-109 in one turn. The campaign isn´t over yet, as we need to take Lublin, but the Polish troops aren´t able to offer meaningful resistance. Here are the campaign losses....

September 1940. The Blitzkrieg in the West started four months ago, with mixed results, while German advance is slow, and losses were relatively heavy, the Luftwaffe retains complete air superiority and the situation didn´t degenerate in a war of fixed positions. Attempts to create bridgheads in Belgian territory were repulsed three times by allied forces, and, while both forces suffered heavy losses, the allied air force in Belgium was decimated. Many French times, including about 300 of the new S35 were lost (this tank was a shock to Germany, btw). Here is the current situation in the Belgian Front. We expect Brussels to fall next turn.

In the Maginot Front we have a stalemate, but some of the French fortifications were demolished by German Artillery, we had few enemy artillery activity in the last 2 turns. What is happening?
