Fixing a Class

Post by PAWMatrix »

Hello,

I am having difficulty fixing a class in WPO.

I pulled up the AE editor and it has a much better interface.

But, as of yet I have not tried the AE one yet.

If you want to edit a class, do you have to fix the ships 1st using this class before you change a weapon slot on the class?

In WPO, it seems I cannot change one of the Weapon slots. So, was wondering if there is some smarts that I am not aware of.

Let me offer this.

First, set your devices if you want / need to reconfigure a ship class
Second set your ship classes, including binding (conversions)
Third, set your ships to classes, both on-hand and reinforcements. Ships previously set to another class, or if the class itself was changed, probably need amending in most cases.

Make sense?

Are you talking about WPO which was released by Matrix a couple years back or are you talking about someone's mod? If you're refering to the Matrix release I don't think the editor for AE is compatible with WPO. WPO was done using mostly the vanilla WITP as its base from what I understand.
