A turn-based strategy game like no other has landed. Approachable, absorbing and visually impressive yet detailed, Battle Academy aims to revolutionise the strategy games market with a blend of intuitive design and compelling game play driven by cutting edge technical innovation. The game has more than 30 battles in a range of theatres of war from the North African desert through D-Day to the to the snowy Ardennes mountains where the Allies battled to repel the final German offensive. Now with additional battles on the Western Front with the expansions 'Blitzkrieg France', 'Market Garden', 'Operation Husky', 'Sealion' and 'Rommel in Normandy'.
I thought I would throw together some quick graphic mods for the people that want a Pacific version.
This is the German Victory flag and unit marker. I took the shot with UOSU as the F2 key seems to make a tga.
I installed the mod with Jones Software Generic Mod Enabler (JSGME), a mod swapping program.

I'm not sure what the program you mention does, but you don't need it. You can use your own assets in custom campaigns without any problems. You should be able to just copy the marker and its texture into an ANIM directory you create in your custom campaign's dir. Then it will use it rather than the one in CORE\ANIM.
I'm trying to put together simple documentation for building your own assets, and also people have asked for exporters that can be used on free 3D modellers (which might be a little more involved as simply getting some of our models into the correct format as templates might be hard in itself!).
Yes that helps. Just trying to inspire people with talent to take over the reigns.

I followed the instructions at the mod page, installed Notepad++, started looking at the files.
Looks like a lot of typing but not too difficult. Checking and rechecking. A young guy could probably knock out a good mod in a weekend.

I'll write a document when I figure out/remember what I had to do.

The scripts and file system is over my head so I may not get much further with this.

I can barely read and write, let alone draw pictures [:D]
I merely mean to inspire those with talent to do what I cannot.

There are free tools out there. I used www.befunky.com in the pic above. But you need quality source pictures to produce nice cartoons. Paid effects might be better. There might be other graphics software that can do it as well (online or offline).
Now that you mention it, Ghostryder at wargamer gave a link on one of those programs in the research forum.

Pacific campaign of 4 battles. USMC vs Japan. A tribute to Wild Bill Wilder and SPWAW. The first battle is a simple show of units. The next three are based on SPWAW scenarios by WBW. No mines though. Adjusted for gameplay and available units.
Included are extra units and items for others to make scenarios to share. Those above and
