New Guy

Post by Bruiser »

Hi all,
My story is almost exacly like Gideon's. Played all the games and decided to see what was new. Found the download and hoped for the best. WOW. Now I come home at lunch sometimes to play. Good thing I can't do it at work or I'd lose my job.

Wanted to give an intro of myself, next I'll be moving over to the challenge area to set up an email game. Took me awhile but I've maxed out against the AI and have prepared myself for the whoopings I may take when I start playing the unknown factor.

Read most of the FAQs and information posts and I am most appreciative to all the authors. Hope I can contribute as much someday.

Welcome to the insanity, and many sleepless nights. Where in Fl are you from ???? Give it some time and you'll be a regular busting at the seams with information and insight.

I'm down the street from you in Pensacola. I get over to Eglin every so often. Always hard to believe that as beautiful as the beaches are here, they get even nicer heading your way.

Hey, Bruiser & gmenfan, from Tallahassee! Just downloaded this thing and thought I'd check out the forum. I wasn't going to say anything until I saw you guys. I mostly play flight sims, but I used to fight WW2 battles with miniatures when I was a teen. I currently play a 19th century hex game called "Age of Rifles". SPWAW looks very cool! Anyone watch the show on Kursk Sunday night?

Gmenfan: Why don't you put up a poll for which states are represented in this forum ? I don't know how to do same and I'm getting suspicious that Florida is well in the running.
I will ask our neighbors from Europe, Asia, Canada and South America to please be patient and tolerant of us Yanks on this one.
PS: I know the Finns outnumber us all:D :D :D :D
PPS: To the two new gentlemen, Welcome aboard.

Hello to the new guys. I highly recommend, if you haven't played it, Wild Bill's Munda mini-campaign. (Geez, I should just put that sucker in my .sig!)
