I#d like to have the choice whether or not to upgrade specific equipments. I hate it so much that I'm forced to spend tons of HI on equopment that goes to the pool to stay there forever after a few months... Maybe I just want to upgrade the infrantry, but not the tanks of a unit - must be nice!

One more from me.

When you have sent the file to your opponent it would be great if you could access the file so that you could plot and plan whilst waiting for the turn to come back.

Whilst you can always restore the previous turn file it would be great to be able to 'read-only' the current turn with all of your changes and moves showing.

Any chance this is possible?

yeah,

that has been my current workaround - but you have to use a different save point - gets a bit confusing when you have several pbems on the go

- slightly off topic- I think I have been playing WITP_AE to long, my wife just sent her CV to me to proof read - my first thoughts were to check her CAP settings and remaing air missions.

I want armies where you add LCU to them the same way you add ships to fleets.
were you can ad items from the pool into a unit if you have the suppy.
Cool idea!...Maybe a new button called "Supply Sergeant".?

Since this is basically a naval war game, 'Quartermaster' might be more appropriate. [;)]

I like some one to tone down the killer Emilys!Or at very least remove the "hunt down and kill Steve's battleships" sub routine that the program currently has! Hey developers! What did I ever do to you!? [:D]
How about a 'make bloody sure that my bulky and slow prewar BBs have aircover' button? [:'(]

Now why would you want that? The Bulkly, Slow, Pre-War torpedo absorbers aren't like a Betty Magnet or anything. [:D]

For some suggestions, look at this thread, and see my posts (I think post 4 is the first one). I even included pictures! [:D]

Actually, no it wouldn't. A naval Quartermaster steers the ship, and helps with the navigation. A storekeeper, or SK would be the closest thing to an Army supply Sargent.

Steve, with all the reprobates that play this game, would you want "War in the Pacific: SK" to be associated with the title? Just think how that could be twisted.

In the words of George Carlin: "I'm still looking for my nymphomaniac coke connection that owns a Ferrari dealership." Is that too much to ask?

It wasn't my ask. I still want to be able to shoot someone! [:D]

And by the way, aircover was selected and provided for. 4 Groups of Army p-38's. Both times. Apparently they don't like a little rain. [X(][:(]

Quite serious here --

I would like a button on the top row that when pressed a generic spreadsheet with numbers immediately replaces the map. Call it the "Boss Walking Toward You" button.

Suicide boat units? As land/coastal defence units capable of launching (limited) suicide attacks against amphibious TFs? I guess they would be very hard to introduce to the game though.

i'll second that one. Good idea.

As for the 'hyperlink' connect between info in the ops report and the unit/base in question.... i've been asking for that since the first day of release. I'm not sure why it is so hard?

Also, it would be nice if the map scrolled again when i want to set search arcs on the map. It did scroll in the initial release, but has not ever since patch one. if it did once i'm sure it can again!

and how about including the info from the sigint report, coastwatchers reports, etc on the map? The report says 'coastwatcher reports 5 ships in port at Fitzmullenbargshintxen", but nothing on the map! why? Also sigint often reports sightings, but no show on screen.

And dont tell me it is in Tracker or any other add on!!!!!! I want it IN GAME!!

ok, thats my grumpy moment for the day!

cheers

Ha! yes, thats called the [ALT] + [TAB] button!! i remember some of the early Panther games series had the 'boss' button - popped up with a generic looking spreadsheet. Nice touch really.
