Here it comes. A lot of things came better and are now
even better balanced considering human vs. human games.
Enchanced some things to make the game more enjoyable.

Have fun!

--------------------------------------------------------------

The Roman Empire Patch v1.3 (28.9.2008)

- Increased all city structural points
- Increased fortification and fortress structural points and
Roman fortress also have 1000 production points
- Triremes can now correctly do shorebombardement
- Doubled ship moving capacity (5 hex -> 10 hex)
- Increased heavy weapon moving capacity
- Reduced Barbarian unit power a bit, and gave the
same amount to AI
- Romans got a new cohort including few heavy weapons
- Increased heavy weapons ability to do damage at hard terrain
- Added 2 new actions cards. Both sides can now buy extra supply
with PP
- Fixed PP award system. Now each side can gain max. +50% PP more
than opponent from victorypoint locations
- Increased supply wagon carry capacity and reduced transfer
ability. Now horses are clearly better at transfering stuff
- Barbarians (Germania) got +2000 production points
- Rome got +1000 production points
- Roman 'Germania' Legion got morale boost
- Roman engineers are now rear area units and have better
hard terrain + fortification bonuses. This makes them very
good fighting force in special conditions. Cost also doubled
and engineer needs 2 manpower
- Enchanced Roman manpower usage code
- Reduced Bad Omen cardpower a bit
- Fixed small graphical error

Thank you for your kind words. I have had a lot of fun by doing a scenario
by myself, using easy and very customizable editor and then play that scenario
and see it actually work. Not many games in market, can offer the same
pleasure and experience.

Okay, I need some help here. I can't seem to download the scenario from the scenario bank. I'm getting around 700-800K and it keeps spitting me out of the download. What gives? I'm not having this problem with other scenarios, only this one.

Sorry to hear about that problem. I've asked few of my friends (one at UK, Germany and East Coast USA) to download the scenario. They all did it fine. I have no idea why this happened to you. I am sure Victor can answer on this one. You should ask it at "Advanced tactics support" area.

Playing around a bit. Is it possible to create more than 3 legions?
I have I legion Germanica, II Legion Italia and III Legion, which was created by using the handcard. (95pp)
(...)
And how do I create more Legions??

The same with me. I just started playing this mod - still no way to have more than 3 legions. Any ideas?

There is no such thing as a historically accurate strategy game. Every game stops being accurate from the very first move player make. The first unit that moves ahistorically, first battle with non-historical results, means we ride into the unknown.

You don't - it is something that makes the game very interesting :)

It is not actually too hard to win - but you have to think about what you are doing with every single unit - you can't afford to have any of them destroyed.

Probably you should be able to replace destroyed ones - the Romans could always find another army commander somewhere ....but you can't....:)

I think I gave it a low rating on the scenario website, but I'd raise it by a point or 2 now I've played it some more.

I will say that Zaratoughda's spinoff mod for random games using this mod as a base masterfile has been very fun. So, there's another way to enjoy the work put into this scenario.
History began July 4th, 1776. Anything before that was a mistake.

It is possible to buy more Legions with PP points (check out those action cards). I am sorry if there has not been enough information about this. Going to add it in describtion. However since PP points are limited source, there will be always limited
number of Roman Legions, just like they were in historically too. It is also important thing for balance reasons.
