FONTS (More readable fonts when using higher resolutions) My Monitor's native resolution is 1920x1080.

My eyesight is just not what it use to be and the current fonts are a real struggle for me. Will this issue be addressed?

Agreed. Even at 1680x1050, I'm getting some font blur. [:(]

Almost a month on since Erik posted that (it seems like longer) and all we really know is that there is beta testing being done for the expansion.

I hope that the expansion will be ready this year, but I don't want it rushed out. Take your time guys, but please give us an update.[&o]<This is me begging.

mods support, REAL mod support is what would have kept this community alive, but it's fizzled a bit. I hope it can spring back.

I know I would buy the expansion in a heartbeat. This is the best 4X on the market for me and anything that gets added to that will get my money.

A few sneakpeeks would be nice though.

I have to say that I am a bit surprised...

Erik made the effort to post to this forum last night to point out that someone bumped an old DW thread but failed to respond to this thread.

While I doubt it was his intent it does come off as a bit rude.

Ever since the last patch on 7/30/10 this forum has been starved for information concerning future patches and any news about the expansion.

At this point I doubt that we are going to see another patch prior to the expansion and that is disappointing.

I agree...

REAL mod support would keep this community going between patches and expansion packs.

I feel that DW really would have benefited from one more solid patch updating the in-game info and tutorial with the various tweaks made to the game since release as well as adding real mod support. This should have been done before moving forward on the expansion.

I believe the mod support would have kept the community alive and growing as we waited for the expansion.

The expansion is in testing and we are very busy making tweaks, fixes and improvements based on tester feedback. The goal is to release this expansion before Christmas, so we're very quickly approaching the point where we will have to make an announcement if we believe we can make that date. I can say that the promised mod support and the galactopedia update will be in the expansion, though we also plan to add those enhancements to the next original DW release update.

To clarify: Do you just want bigger text or a different font?

I could imagine just taking DPI into consideration would solve the size problem. You probably have the same problem on the Windows Desktop and have set the font-size setting (indirectly setting the logical DPI), so the game could reuse the Windows setting.

But I am not a developer, I am just trying to clarify the wish.
