For those of you who wanted a chart of what kind of aircraft each of the Soviet squadrons has I put together a little something so I thought I'd share it with you guys. I'm going to try to keep track of where the Soviet fighters and bombers are so I can judge whether or not to attack in certain areas. To know whether or not the 4th CA is bombers or fighters I needed a chart like this. The playback sometimes says which Soviet unit is moving so I can sometimes get good intell from the playback.

You mean the 73rd something something. Yeah, well, it's a bonus. I hope the values are the same. I have no idea how that happened. I may have to get around to fixing that someday.

Here's the Axis rail system for turn 21 where the green lines are functioning rail lines and you can see where the green lines stop abruptly in the middle where two partisans have cut my supply lines. Again.

That's predominately Kevin's fault. He keeps pulling his troops back when I outflank him. Which is often here early in the game. Without a functioning substantial front line you're kind of handicapped. But I think Kevin is doing a really good job protecting his troops. And what's really cool is that I'm not sure but maybe we demonstrated ( again ) that the forward defense doesn't work all that well unless it's done correctly. And that's really hard to do. I'm pretty sure I don't know how to do it. I'm pretty sure I've never seen anybody do it yet. Kevin tried and everything but.....

Desna and Dnepr are two vastly different rivers. Dnepr has one bridge till you get to the road between Gomel and Rechitsa. I think there is one about 100km north of Kiev. There is a railroad bridge a little farther north for certain but I think it might have been made during the war. In any event there is nothing but ferries for the Dnepr. If you ever saw it you would understand why. [;)]
