strategic map and parametre guns

1. I buy each game close combat - for game Human vs Human. But in campaign TLD and LSA I do not play. I and my friends not so like these campaigns (in comparison, for example, with mod GJS). We wait big mods, but they are not present. When have wanted to make mod have seen that strategic card LSA and TLD for this purpose badly approaches. Rather square or rectangular strategic map (not so extended, as in TLD) is necessary. To make a new strategic map as I has understood very difficult for the majority. Therefore it would be desirable, that developers or have let out tools to which can create new strategic maps (to have tactical cards in other order). Or have made one-two maps convenient for creation new mods and tools which allow to change names of tactical maps (Somebody will make mod for Stalingrada, and somebody for Spain).
Thus, to me I will be clear I get new game with new improvements and campaign to it and I have a hope to see good mods. In a today's situation (is not present convenient Tools, there are no the strategic maps created under mods) - hopes to see new global mods is not present.

2. In WaR, TLD, LSA value of guns has strongly fallen - they are too easily found out after a shot and are too easily killed. Many not to put in houses. Prompt on example TLD and (or) LSA: 2.1. What parametre needs to be changed to reduce probability of their detection after a shot.
2.2. What parametre needs to be changed to allow a gun will take places in the house.

For a wide a deep strat use the WaR stratmap.

advo - I DO AGREE with you. We find those campaigns also boring, baiscly useless in making mods.
Andrew - I agree WAR map is nice - but how can I transfer it to LSA? It doesnt work imho

Assuming the strategic map editing is the same as WAR and while I haven't tried it yet changing the strategic map shouldn't be that difficult.
You need some type of graphic program that can save your image as a 16bit.TGA

Extract the current strategic map with GadgetMunger and open it with say Photoshop.
Then open the stratmap.txt found in your maps folder.
Study the current X,Y and W,H coordinates using the view rulers option in Photoshop. (set to pixels)

If need be take some ingame screen shots of your current GC and open that with PS to understand the arrows and the straticons go along with the support icon graphics.
Do the same with the scenario editor screen and the Debrief screen.

A lot of work? Yes

I think LSA has some changes to WAR and TLD.
But anyway its too complicated for me - I am waiting for any map from previous versions.
