Can't get version 2.0 to download

After two tries and over 5 hours wasted, I can't get the version 2.0 upgrade to download. I am attempting to download from the most recent previous version and both times I get:

Failed to receive FTP file (#15 line 2)

This brought both of my PBEM games to a stand still. One guy already has 2.0 loaded and the other one was smart enough not to try to tie up his system for hours today.

This brings up 2 questions:

1. How am I supposed to get version 2.0 to download?
2. Should a PBEM game continued with players using different versions?

My wife needs to use the phone.............

Answer to Q1) There are some many people trying to d/l the patch that is why you are getting the error. You will have to either keep trying or wait a few days for it to slow down.

Q2) No you can't keep going in your PBEM games till you have patch v2.0.

I am glad its not my system and that I will be able to upgrade after the stampede.

Those guys in far off time zones may actually have been given a break for a change-looks like I'll have to set my alarm to hit the early bird connection.
