Black Screen of Death

Greetings- I'm getting frequent black screen crashes. These only occur during battles while scrolling the map with the mouse on the edge of the screen. It happens during single battles, operations, or campaigns. It does not always happen using the same save file, in fact I usually make it through the second attempt of the fight. The screen goes black, and the sound continues for a few seconds. I can not alt tab or alt f4 or ctrl alt delete to close the game- I have to turn the power to my pc off.

I am running an updated windows 7 home premium (64) on an intel 650 3.2ghz with 8gb of ram. Nvidia GeForce GT 220 with up to date drivers. Videos work fine.

I haven't seen any similar issues on the forum yet so I thought I would post mine in case anybody else does have a similar problem- sure would appreciate a fix [&o]

(Oh yeah forgot to mention, this happened in an older version and the latest members' beta version currently.)

Okay seems like my issue was no more serious than checking to make sure the resolution setting matched my monitor, and that I had windowed mode selected. [8|] Haven't had any problems since making these two changes...
