To my knowledge, only bad beer comes in cases.

Nay, but it is true that no *really good* beer does. There are acceptable beers such as Pilsner Urquell and Stella Artois that come in quantities. Heck, Fat Tire is pretty dern good and it comes in cases.

my good man, there is no such thing as "bad beer"....only less good beer....[:'(]

No, I'm afraid you've never had the canned horse piss that is mainstream American beer or your beer detector is broken. There is DEFINITELY bad beer. Indeed there is Awful Beer(TM) and Death In a Beercan(TM).

see my subsequent comments on beer selection...and I've DEFINITELY consumed "canned horse piss that is mainstream American beer"...let me pose a hypothetical situation...you are at a social gathering which is painfully awkward, but you have no choice but to attend (perhaps wife unit is a factor here) and the only beer available is "canned horse piss that is mainstream American beer"...do you drink it or abstain from alocohol in this situation (i realize that i am unabashedly applying situational "ethics" here, but hey...it's a slow day here!)

Yep! I saw the "ickey" water and ran away!

I suppose your wife unit now wants a shrubbery.

No, but she has been wicked and wants me to spank her. [:'(]

you mean you don't get asked to spank even if no wickeness has transpired? [:D]

Depends on the company . . . drinking may be necessary.

Oh no!  What happened, Scott??? [X(]
Went to the doctor with chest pains on Monday thinking it was the flu. Doctor ran tests and called me at work and told me to go to the hospital on Tuesday, stated he thought I had a heart attack. [X(] Hospital ran more tests, poked and prodded me. My heart is fine and so are my arteries. The really do not know what caused the chest pains. The discharge paper from the hospital stated some thing was elevated. Prob something associated with heart burn. [8|] No I have to be carefully, they put and incision in my groin area for a coronary angiogram, they put die in my arteries. Very sore.

Scott, my best wishes !!

See, I think he may have served. For a while. Everyone knows the guy who started basic training and was seperated due to "incompatible with military service" then spends the rest of his life holding a grudge against those did complete boot, and against the military itself for not recognizing his brillance and abilities. Those are the people I find to be the most hostile against veterans and military service and services.

He doesn't seem to have a dislike, but a hatred. [:(]

Sounds like we have the makings of a bet, partner. How about a 12 pack? Even better, a case of beer. That way we can split it and there's enough to help us try to forget what we would have to do to find out who wins. [:D]

Gladly! I'll warn you though, I have expensive tastes![:D] In NE I drink Shipyard Fuggles, on the east coast Dogfish 60,90, or 120 minutes IPA, on the West coast Pyramid, and here in Nebraska Lucky Bucket. [:D][:D][:D]

I doubt if he has left of his own choosing. I prefer to hope he has finally landed the job of his dreams and is way too busy getting settled in. [:)]

I gave in during a week moment and unblocked the most recent incarnation of our favorite forum troll to see what he could possibly have posted in the "thank you veterans" thread.  [8|]

I am willing to bet $1,000,000 he has never spent a single day serving in the military of any country.

**** 'em. I have the utmost respect for our veterans, dead or alive. That extends to those of our allies and even (to a certain extent) enemies. Right or wrong (and volunteer or conscript) they were (and are) there to defend what we had and what we would have long after they were gone.

Settle down, Emeril. [8|][:'(]

So, my wife likes to cook and watch cooking shows.... [:D]

I watch them as well, once in a while. I especially like Alton Brown.

But if I went out and bought all the gadgets and gizmos he has, I would a) go broke and b) not have any room in the house. [:D]

Would you belive that we have his cook books, and Lou got "me" several of his shows on video for Christmas. And yes, I did a of his events that he did with Smithsonian.[8|]
