VS71 and VS72

Jan. 43, as CV SBD groups are melding, both VS71 and VS72 disappeared from Wasp. It's three weeks later and neither has reappeared. There is an 18-plane dive bomber squadron scheduled to join Wasp, but not until 1945. Where did they go. I have F and TB squadrons on Wasp, but no DBs.

Check your VB units. They are supposed to become bigger (the reason why you lose the VS).

There was no VB unit on Wasp, and none has appeared anywhere since the disappearance of VS71 and VS72.

The Wasp has no organic VB group according to editor, but 2 VS ones (71 & 72). The VS-71 is linked to VBF-71.

The VS-72 should get renamed to VB-72.

I guess the question is: "Where is VBF-71? It did not appear to take the place of the VS squadrons who disappeared. It is not on the board anywhere, nor is any VBF squadron of that number scheduled to appear. There are no VB or VBF squadrons in the Group Reinforcement Schedule dedicated to Wasp, nor are there any such squadrons flying DBs, which is what Wasp lost. That's why I'm beginning to think this is a bug.

VBF groups don't arrive until '45.
