Question for Mr Bleck...

Post by Magpius »

Bleck,
Would it be possible to have separate sets of unit.csv files for individual countries?
That way I could have black or dark background units with white symbols sets, (as well as lighter units with black), greatly increasing the scope of unit variations.
regards
A

Of course it is possible, but right now I have many other (more important) issues to deal with. But I will write down this idea [;)]
I think much easier would be to allow to use country-specific info.png (just like units.png are now). So you could make for example info_Japan.png with different symbols just for Japan.

Bleck,
Would your suggestion of country-specific .pngs, require coding within the WW2.exe file (that is, patch 1.9) or could it be done in the current version?
