MR,
Just your earlier description of this function was really sharp. But, then you went the extra yardage to show it with the destruction of the T-34. I am somewhat stunned. The detail associated with the destruction of that tank is amazing. [&o] The animations that display in this extreme slow-motion example at 1/10 speed are truly a sight to behold.

At regular speed you would probably miss most of those little details, and for those that are more interested in the gameplay they aren't important. The important thing is the destruction of the enemy tank with a successful AT attack.

As for me, I've always been interested in the small nuances and details that immerse you into the displayed conflict. I have every intention of trying to cover some AAR's for PCO like the ones I did for CMBB and CMAK. Control of the viewing speed will greatly enhance that, and will allow me to see the small details as they occur. Trying to time the screen shots in CM was sometimes a challenge. Control of the viewing speed in PCO is a great feature and I am very excited that it is included.

Your series of screen shots are really amazing - I love the extra details you displayed and pointed out through your post. Bravo! Thanks for the post.

I agree with heinrich55...well done sir.  Damn I wish this game was out.  Any chance we could see this sequence via a video?

ROFL!! Not by me. I'm completely video challenged.

I know that for at least a part of the community playing the game is only a part of what they enjoy about it.

First and foremost it has to be a good game. After that there are scenario designers, modders and finally AAR specialists. PCO supports all levels of us as best as possible.  BUT don't forget, there is PC4 coming as well. That should take tactical wargames to an entire new level. So far we've only been talking about what is not what will be.

Good Hunting.

I like the timer, but can you rewind segments for the replay? For example rewinding 5 seconds instead of the whole replay?

yes, you can click on the progress bar itself to rewind to that point, or you can shift-click on an event in the msg log and rewind to a point a few seconds BEFORE that event.

thanks

Excellent! Clicking the progress bar is more than I had hoped for!
