For sure, Traskott... With 10 F4F4 over transports, another 13 F4F escorting striking group, Jonathan must to have a CAP over their carrier/s. With 18 SBD like air complement of USN dive bombers Squadrons on a fleet carrier like standard is another piece of information about it.
He will must to withdraw or face to CombFleet.. !!

With CombFleet in the area, our air strikes over Ndeni have been taken without enemy opposition. SUBJECT: AIR WAR OVER BURMA.
DATE: JUNE 6TH, 1942
109 IJA level bombers escorted by 51 Ki-43Ic and 6 twin engine Ki-45 KAI strike this morning Imphal airfield. Our fighters must to dogfight with enemy on CAP, a dozen of Mohawks IV over enemy base. 1 Mohawk was reported downed by our fighters. 1 airbase, 3 airbase supply and 17 runway hits were reported over enemy airfield.
38 British Level bombers were intercepted at day time over Mandalay. With only 4 Ki-44 available at CAP our fighters only reported 1 Blenheim and 1 Wellington downed. 13 casualties were reported from our ground units. 3 airbase and 3 runway hits on the facilities were reported too.

We have been surprised when our first wave (sweep) reported enemy aircrafts were on CAP over Ndeni Island. 35 A6M2 sweeping Ndeni dogfighted with 4 P-40B on CAP under Heavy Rain. 1 P-40 was downed without own losses.
A second sweep with 4 a6M2 reported no enemy fighters were on CAP.
A third sweep with 20 A6M2 reported no enemy activities over Ndeni.
Our striking wave with 68 IJN Level bombers were escorted by 45 A6M2. Under bad weather (heavy rain) our pilots reported 11 enemy casualties, 1 airbase, 2 airbase supply and 73 runway hits.
In spite of heavy damages over enemy facilities, we will not forget to press on to avoid new enemy efforts to reinforce their forces in this area in our southern perimeter border.

SUBJECT: ENEMY SUB ACTIVITIES
DATE: JUNE 9TH, 1942
Yesterday, a enemy boat sunk a little tanker off Koepang at Timor. With more than 1.000 tons of fuel she was valuable to replenish our little forces docked at this southern S.R.A. port.
I am in a must to request more ASW assets to let us locally resuply missions like former.
Today an enemy Gato class boat torpedoed XAK TEISIN MARU off Nauru when loading resources. HOwever, ship was not sunk and she is docked at Nauru with heavy damages. Her sister will departure at once from Nauru to avoid contact with the enemy submarine.
A Ki-30 flying from Saicho To Island reported a hit over an allied boat in western Home waters.
Great Convoy (2nd) has arrived to Home Island (Shimonoseki) without news, several group of cargo ships after be unloaded at Home Port have departure to resource centers under ASW escort.

Straffing enemy facilities several enemy aircrafts were damages on airstrip with 1 airbase, 1 airbase supply and 4 runway hits. A great success due the number of aircraft in this attack.
A raid with 82 IJA level bombers escorted by 33 Ki-43Ic have strike Imphal airfield reporting 1 Mohawk destroyed on ground, 10 casualties, 15 airbase, 1 airbase supply and 48 runway hits.
25 Ki-43Ic from 11st Daitai escorted 11 Ki-30 to fly an city attack mission over Chittagong.
A Ki-48IIa Daitai have been withdrew to rearguard airfield to be fullfilled with new aircrafts and take pilot reemplacements from General Reserve (Bombers) Pool.

DATE: JUNE 10TH, 1942
Strong air activity from our air assets and enemy over Burma / Indian border.
22 IJN Type-0 Naval Fighters take off from Akyab Naval airstrip to sweep Colmilla. Enemy was awaiting with 13 Hurricanes on CAP. 1 A6M2 was downed by enemy with 2 Hurricanes claimed by our pilots.
14 Ki-21 and 5 Ki-45 take off from Mandalay to strike Imphal but they were surprised by 10 P-40E on CAP. 1 Ki-45 and 4 Ki-21 were downed by the enemy.
24 Ki-43 and 16 Ki-30 unsuccesfully strike Chittagong city.
17 Ki-43Ic escorted 19 IJA level bombers over Silchar airfields. 6 enemy P-40 were flown a CAP mission over enemy base. 1 Ki-21 and 1 Ki-48 were downed with numerous P-40E downed (nor less than 6). 1 airbase hit, 1 airbase supply and 8 runway hits were claimed by our pilots.

Strong air activity from our air assets and enemy over Burma / Indian border.
22 IJN Type-0 Naval Fighters take off from Akyab Naval airstrip to sweep Colmilla. Enemy was awaiting with 13 Hurricanes on CAP. 1 A6M2 was downed by enemy with 2 Hurricanes claimed by our pilots.
14 Ki-21 and 5 Ki-45 take off from Mandalay to strike Imphal but they were surprised by 10 P-40E on CAP. 1 Ki-45 and 4 Ki-21 were downed by the enemy.
24 Ki-43 and 16 Ki-30 unsuccesfully strike Chittagong city.
17 Ki-43Ic escorted 19 IJA level bombers over Silchar airfields. 6 enemy P-40 were flown a CAP mission over enemy base. 1 Ki-21 and 1 Ki-48 were downed with numerous P-40E downed (nor less than 6). 1 airbase hit, 1 airbase supply and 8 runway hits were claimed by our pilots.

SUBJECT: SOUTHERN PERIMETER REPORT
DATE: JUNE 10TH, 1942
Our air assets at Port Moresby launched an air strike over Cooktown to fix enemy fighters at eastern australian coast.
35 Ki-43Ic escorted 21 Ki-48IIa to meet with numerous P-40E on CAP. 1 Ki-43 and several P-40E (nor less than 3) were downed by our fighters. Our bomber pilots reported 4 airbase and 7 runway hits.
For the other hand, the enemy have strike Port Moresby with his four engine monsters. 6 LB-30 and 6 B-17E were intercepted over Port Moresby by 25 Ki-43Ic on CAP (and catch training over PM). Enemy was flown over us at 17,000 feet. NO enemy aircraft were downed and no Ki-43Ic were destroyed with 2 or 3 enemy bombers damaged to their returning leg.
