Vik, I know you will like this setup. How about Willy and I take you on. Each can pick ANY nation/weapons. You can bring on all your favs like Italians, Poles, US etc. if you want but I bet Willy shares my desire to contain the 'Viking' aggression.

Lets do US/US, 15K, 4 air, 10% arty, no mines, again no restriction on the nations/weapons. Willy, r u game?

A few questions
... does this mean we have abandoned the four-way we were playing?
... are we proposing a 2 on 1 game vs Viking? (if so the 2 player side has a disadvantage due to coordinating two seperate forces vs. one cohesive one)
... is our fourth (Hades) in agreement with this?
... are both sides are using 15k (7.5k/7.5k) of ANYTHING they want, or are we using some sort of guidelines (ie Axis, Allies, etc...)
... what year/month?

Having blathered on for long enough I'll hand it to you gentlemen ... willy will try anything once

A few answers:

four way seems to be on indefinite hold.

1-2 scenario makes it interesting: Vik may face different tactics by each opponent, we are free to coordinate our actions as we please.

Vik=15K, Willy/Red=15K

choice of weapons is ours, no rules (just hordes of Saharinas all over the map with Polish Engineers as Tank Killers D)

if you want we can make it December'49

Sounds ok to me then. I've never tried out such a fee-form game ... I would propose no prelaid mines (it can really bog things down). If the mighty Viking is in agreement, then we can clear up on the prefs, mapsize, conditions etc..., and set it up.
