Does Hq influence landing battle?

I noticed that army's HqPw is 0 when they are in landingcraft no matter how nearly thair hq is. But when they begin landing battle, does the hq can infulence the army? Such as Malta landing battle, should I move their hq close to them?

if it was close enough I would think that you would get the bonus from the HQ

Actually, I would guess that the HQ does not apply to the landing unit - however that's just me guessing how the engine works.

There's several cases I can think of:

1) HQ out of range - obviously bonus not applied
2) HQ within range but also in landing craft when amphibious assault takes place (pretty sure it doesn't apply bonuses)
2) HQ within control range and on land when amphibious assault takes place (??? guessing bonus is also not applied)

Unless Vic knows this offhand and can comment here, it would be worth testing this by making a small custom scenario to find out.

This is which I want to know. In this game there is too little information about battle bonus.

At the moment you can activate combat logs in prefs to get some info.

But this will be very much improved in AT Gold.

The HQ bonus should apply as amphibious is seen as land combat.

Interesting... well, this would imply that best practices are to land your HQ unit on the same turn as your invasion, in a nearby undefended hex. This would however hang your HQ out to dry if the landing ends up unsuccessful.
