I like the look of this game.

First, what screen resolutions? Does it support higher ones like 1280x1024?

Is the manual print friendly?

Re scenarios, I think those script driven ones are nice but are a bugger to make new ones unless you're familiar with programming. Take a look at the discussion for Battlefield Academy at Slitherine. That game does the same thing and the published scenarios are good. But it's been more than three months and there have been only a few new ones made by modders. The company was sort of forced into coming out with an easy scenario tool. Perhaps having two options for this game would be good, have the scripted scenarios and a sandbox random one with simple built-in scripts. This would give unlimited replayability and imo would be a huge boost to sales as this freature is very popular.

Manual is about 15 pages, mostly basic stuff. I ran 1920/1280 on my 27" hannspree
as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns; that is to say, there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns—there are things we do not know we don't know."

Rich, in this thread the developer mentions that he will provide a toolset for making new missions.

I did look at the sample mod and from what I saw the toolset would help a lot.

That's all positive info. Thanks for your input. If the toolset makes it easy to set up different type scenarios on existing maps then random maps might not be necessary. I'm going to wait a bit for more comments and a look at the toolset but I'll probably be getting this one.

The game automatically detects available resolutions and lets you run whichever one you choose. The aspect ratio is accounted for too, so 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, 5:4 and any others which might exist should all be fine.

The main reason that I didn't release the toolset with the game is that I want to have it set up so that all the included missions can be loaded, edited and resaved. I have some technical and some licensing restrictions which are making that a little more time consuming than I would like, but I'll get there.
