CAP aircraft on sunk carriers?

CAP aircraft on sunk carriers?

Seems like the CaW forum is pretty quiet. However, I have just purchased CaW as I was looking for a pacific wargame not as complex as WitP and UV. So far, I really like this game but it doesn't seem to be bug-free after all.

One thing I discovered after 20 mins of playing. Incoming planes that were on CAP are now listed armed and fuelling in the Carrier screen though their base ship has been sunk. Thus, no victory pionts awarded to the AI for these planes. Has this bug never been reported before??? I tried multiple times. They should be trying to find another base and IIRC if they don't find any within 3 hexes they will be destroyed. Any word on this?
