Turn US 49 sent to Casus_Belli.

Shelled some French tanks at Gibraltar, thats all what happened.

Seems that the AI has some trouble to manage unit deployment.

Turn sent, made a big mistake that I should have known better. Note to self: Do not attack when readiness is low ! On a more happier note, I htink I have now found the right hammer for the nails that are scattered around Gibralter, the battle is set to begin soon.

Turn done and sent.
I am completely paralysed and unable to delay or resist the relentless advance. I cannot see any chance of the situation improving, and each turn lends further evidence for this conclusion. I'm ready to concede.

Turn sent, the Gibralter invasion force is being starved for a soon coming assualt. Torpedo planes make their presence felt. By golly I've finally found a hammer that pounds those ships. London is nearly rubbled, the remainder of the UK is soon to follow.

Turn sent. I am now building Bomber VIII and took out most of Birmingham. I think I will have all the UK production sites surpressed in the next 6 turns or so.

Where is the British airforce? Isn´t strategic bombing too effective in this mod?

The British tried some Air defense with Fighters but they were were behind the curve. The French had a level above them and the Germans...ooooff da ! they have tech levels so far out there now it's essentially over.

The British have now deployed flak guns in London and those seem to be more effective than the fiigthers. Time will tell.

Here is a recent shot of an airbattle over the sea hexes on the Portugese coast, it was a devastating setback for me and it hurts me to show this, I sent in my topedo bombers without escort and that was a big mistake. I got a few ships but lots of French production went down in flames as well.

I for one do not feel that Strat bombing is 'too effective'. It took an enourmous investment in tech for France to even get Bomber III's and then many turns of complete dedicated war footing just to make enough planes to put a dent in London. Now Germany is coming into it with very advanced bombers so things are going to get very bad for the British. They had a fighting chance against the French but that was just a making their problems against the Germans worse.

While France was putting everything it had into bombers, there was nothing being spent to upgrade the defensive ground forces, and that is now catching up with me.

I would agree with Jeffrey that strat bombing is not 'too effective'. I have dedicated a considerable portion of the entire production of Eurasia to get to where I am on Air Tech.

In the next 6 turns, I should be able to completely neutralize UK production and over run the rest of SE Asia leaving the UK with Austrailia and Indonesia. 6 turns after that, I will build up enough bombers to neutralize Japan, Phillipine and Indonesia production. At this point, it would come down to the US and Germany. This would take a very long time because of the oceans.

I am happy to play this out as a multiplayer. We could also speed things up if Russia, GB and Japan give their passwords to the US and let him take over. Alternatively, I would also be fine with a new game though I would like to try a different side.

Despite being an allied to USA, the Great Khanate of Murmansk won´t cede his independence to a foreign power[:D]...anyway, I replying the turns very fastly, it won´t take more than 5 minutes to play as Russia.

For some players this game might get boring. So I am fine with starting another game. But in case you want to continue, of course I stay in and take the challenge against Germany.

US might be able to fight for many turns as its navy is highly developped and in good shape. But in the long run US will be defeated, as Germany will soon be able to raise its technological level and will bring its enormous capacity of deploying new units to account.

I'm having a great time every turn. I can't wait for the next round. The game moves slowly, it takes many turns to get a significant change of affairs. If we are going to call it quits here I won't feel too bad. Although I'd like to give it aout 5 or 10 more turns. I agree with Tom, anyone who want's out should give their passwords to the US, or if we all agree to shut it down and move on that's ok with me too.

I think there would be some fun battles ahead with the USN and Germany.

I'm fine with whatever you guys decide...continue, drop or supply password to US to speed things up. It's pretty much a matter of time as far as I'm concerned until Germany takes the whole thing. Even with everyone else allied against him... without Tech sharing, he'll just out Tech us with his Production until it's over....very well played, Tom
