slowdows in large maps

So i get these slow-downs in endgame huge galaxies when scrolling the map. The game runs fine, it's just that when i scroll it takes a really long time to scroll anywhere because the scrolling is extremely slow.

Is this a common issue?

Yes, also the game increases the period betwen the updates ins your ships / fleets positions

One option is to turn off nebula around the systens and control the fps limit

Other option is to not place long range sensors on any of your ships
