Custom Battles: Where are they Stored?

Based on Slitherine’s popular tabletop wargaming system by the same name, Field of Glory now comes to the PC in a faithful adaptation of this acclaimed miniatures wargame! Without the calculations and measurements required for a tabletop game of Field of Glory, the PC version accurately represents Ancient and Medieval combat where you make the important and fun decisions on the battlefield. This forum also supports the Rise of Rome, Storm of Arrows and Immortal Fire expansions to Field of Glory.

Custom Battles: Where are they Stored?

Post by bdtj1815 »

I have just purchased FoG with two add-on packs and upgraded to 1.4. I have downloaded a couple of new scenarios but do not know where they should go. I have tried creating a custom battle with the scenario editor, saved it and cannot find it anywhere in the FoG folder.

Probably being an idiot but help appreciated.

Great fun game by the way!

Assuming you installed the game to its defaults, this is where custom scenarios live:

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Slitherine\FieldOfGlory Scenarios

As you can see , custom scenarios and some other files are not where the main progam is

My game is installed in H:\Matrix Games\Field of Glory, the only change is to the name of the default hard drive. I am using Windows XP. Have searched high and low and no sign of custom games, totally baffled!

Check your C: drive if you don't have a C: drive then it's probably lost as that's where it must be able to write to for your Documents folder.
