Tomorrow or Tuesday?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

I was checking realease dates from the Matrix site, and couldn't find a day of the week where they didn't ever release a title.

Except maybe Saturday.

I always wondered why new releases come on Tuesdays in the US. Why not Monday, the first work day of the week?

There's a good reason why developers don't release on Mondays - because the company (regardless of who they are) generally have enough work from the weekend to contend with without releasing new software [;)]

It won't be today. I can't recall a title being released on Monday by Matrix.

Also, there is usually something last minute that pops up during the day before launch, I would guess. Still, would have been nice to have it today.

Having read that the Gold Master was still being tested I would lean towards a release date towards the end of the week. (That is not to say that I wouldn't welcome an earlier release date) But whenever it is let out to play can the option to buy both a physical copy as well as a download copy be availiable from the beginning. I will want to have a physical copy but I am happy enough to wait for delivery of it till after Christmas if nescessary as I will have the download version sat snugly on my PC
