What download speeds are you getting?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

What download speeds are you getting?

Post by Les_the_Sarge_9_1 »

Just curious. I usually get blinding speed with my game downloads here, but today WitE is coming in at 50k on average.

Just wondering if I am in a long line up :)

No complaints, I can wait. I am just pondering this while waiting is all.

This is also my first download since the site over haul (purchase process went fine by the way).

Mine was 600kb to a little over 1MB at 7:00 CST this morning. Took about 8 minutes, I think. Very quick.

I got about the same speeds. Took less than 10 mins last night. Considering what I pay Comcast it better be fast. One thing that may help-I sometimes get a slowdown when playing streaming videos. A reset of the modem and routers usually fixes that problem.

You guys are annoying :)

Oh well 4 hours later and I got mine. I watched a couple of movies.

I will likely have game comment by tomorrow, but none for today.

I just downloaded it and got 2.5MB/s. Took 3 and a half minutes. The manual, OTOH, has been printing for the last hour or so...and not even half way finished.
