New PBEM campaign 41-45

So Im new to the game and just threw up a PBEM challenge for the 41-45 campaign. I'll be playing as Soviets and would like it if someone with experience played as axis, that way I can learn as I go along, and also because the Soviet side is more forgiving on new player mistakes (and lord knows, I'll be making em).

Someone accepted the challenge I posted but hasnt turned in there turn yet, if nothing happens I'll post a new game up

So I installed the new 1.01 patch before I recieved the turn from my Axis counterpart, toawerchn. Does he have to redo his turn? Is there a way to send messages to Server PBEM opponents?

I guess it could possibly cause problems on the long run. The fewer patches are applied during a game, the better usually. I'd suggest restarting the game.

Usually the theory goes as long as you both ultimately have the same version, and don't go back (i.e 1.00 sends turn to 1.01 that sends back to 1.00) then you should be ok. It's not 100% fool proof, but should be ok.
