dyle points calculation

I can make neither heads nor tails of the Dyle points calculation. The numbers in the hexes seem to have no relation to the Dyle points that are 'awarded.'

Example, I placed one French unit on a 1 pt hex, another on a 2 pt hex, and the Dyle Points awarded was 1.

Can someone clarify?

For each hex it's the total power point in that hex * the Dyle points for that hex.

This is then totaled for the whole map and divided by 100 to give the final score you see at the top.

HQ's and air units don't seem to add to this.

Thx, so the number of hexes one occupies is not important. Only the number of units present.

Sorta yeah. Go for the high Dyle value hexes and you'll need fewer units to make your quota.
