Download Issues

I cannot download the game - it keeps crapping out before 50 MB. I have tried four times over the past 1.5 hours. It isn't even a big DL, usually would take 20-25 minutes. Extremely frustrating and a bit of a throwback actually. Any suggestions apart from contacting Erik?

What browser are you using?

Can you try using another browser (IE, FireFox, Chrome)?

Well I downloaded and installed Firefox, and I get the same result. First try stopped at 3.6MB and now the second is stalled at 40 MB - VERY frustrating...


Edit: Ok with judicious(read countless) pause/restarts I have downloaded it. What a PitA>

Download under IE a trial. It finally kicked in after the third attempt. Might be good to post something about this download issue up where it can be easily found.

That's weird.  Most of us didn't have much trouble.  I had no issues, except it ran at 300-350 kbps (?) a second.  Took about 22 minutes.  I usually can get up to 700+ on most things.

The download looked like it was working but the rate & progress bar weren't active. I canceled & started over & it worked on the 3rd time. Good thing I persisted.
