Quick Start shortcut gives Serial # error?

It appears the installer does not give the quickstart shortcut sufficient privileges to start the game, as I get an error message advising me to contact Matrix regarding my serial.

Noted, thanks - was this with the release version or are you running the test exe for mouse issues?

That's with the 1.0 exe, not beta. Worked the second time around but not since. I was thinking the time it worked came right after quitting the game, so the admin privileges might still have been in place - I know it can work that way in linuxes but don't know about Vista. . .

You could try right-clicking and running as Administrator to see whether that will get you going?
