Update Download Error

When I run the update from the game menus I am informed that there is a newer version of WitE available. Then when I try to download it the program tries to download some version of War in the Pacific AE which is rapidly follwed by an FTE error. What gives and what is the latest version of WitE, Beta or otherwise?

Please ignore that, the only update is the beta update. We'll check and fix whatever is causing that tomorrow.

Have you already installed the Beta update?  If you have it will show as a different version than the current official version, which hasn't been updated yet, and try to download a file that doesn't exist.  The file name you see is just a place holder, until there is an official update.

Same situation as solops. Now if it would just download WITP/AE I would be thrilled. Im stuck with just witp from 9/2003. Good luck with the patch down load fix.
